Bhagwan Munisuvrat Swami Endowed Professorship in Jain Studies
Under the leadership of Dr. Jasvant Modi, the JAINA Academic Liaison Committee (ALC) established the Bhagwan Munisuvrat Swami Endowed Professorship in Jain Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). The Professorship, offering teaching and research in Jain Studies with a donation of $ 1 million, is no less than a milestone in Illinois and Wisconsin. Drs. Meera and Jasvant Modi, Raksha and Harshad Shah, Devyani and Dr. Chandrakant Shah, Leena and Jayendra Shah, Preeti and Dipak Kapadia, Kinna and Satish Shah, and Dr. Dipak Jain are the donors.
