Bhagavan Kunthunath Endowed Scholar of Jain Thought Leadership
Drs. Meera and Jasvant Modi, as dedicated donors to education on Jainism and its belief system, pledged $1 million to Bhagavan Kunthunath Endowed Scholar of Jain Thought Leadership at Cerritos College. They went under the title of their not-for-profit-organization, Vardhamana Charitable Foundation. They had support from along with Jain donors Raksha and Harshad Shah.
This philanthropist couple believes that following Jain principles can help create a greater tolerance toward every living organism and also more respect for all religions and philosophies. They believe that the right time to educate people about Jain principles for global good is during college.
