1. Endowed Chair for Jain Studies
The Shrimad Rajchandra Endowed Chair in Jain Studies was established in 2017 as a celebration of the 150th birth anniversary of Jain teacher and reformer, Shrimad Rajchandra. The Chair has its focus on advancing scholarly research of Jainism and its studies at the UCR. The lead contributors were Drs. Modis, Usha and Mahesh Wadher, Madhu and Vijay Chheda, along with a few from Jain Center of South California, an organization being headed by Dr. Modi between 2018 and 2019, and Jain Center of Los Angeles, where he is the Vice President since 2011 till now. Members of Shrimad Rajchanda Mission Dharampur (USA) too had contributed to the establishment of the Chair.
The proud beneficiary was Dr. Ana Bajželj.
